INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY AND FASCINATION OF PLANTS DAY

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) has marked 18 May as International Museum Day. The European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO) has also chosen 18 May as Fascination of Plants Day. On these occasions, guided tours and workshops will be held in Juliana and its surroundings:

Saturday, 17 May 2025:

10:00: BIRD WATCHING AND RINGING (Dare Fekonja, Slovenian Bird Ringing Centre, operating within the Slovenian Museum of Natural History)

11:00–13:00: GARDEN LIBRARY and WRITE A POSTCARD TO YOUR GRANDMOTHER (Alenka Jamnik, Special Library of the Slovenian Museum of Natural History)

11:00, 12:00 and 13:00: BOTANICAL PEARLS OF JULIANA (Špela Pungaršek, Alpine Botanical Garden Juliana)

Admission to the garden according to the price list; participation in guided tours and workshops is free.
